When a man is greeting another man, they will often give each other a long hand shake. Sometimes they will hold their own hand-shaking forearm with the other hand to show extra respect to the man that is being greeted. Sometimes men will hold hands while talking or walking together. This is simply a way to show friendship. But holding hands can be uncomfortable for American men!
